About Jon E. H. Burton

Hi, my name is Jon and I love pies (and many other things). I was born in 1993 in Ottawa, Ontario, and I've lived there ever since.

I write fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction. In 2016, I published my first book called Catching The Sun which is available by request and I sold my first poem to Bywords in May 2017. My fiction ranges in setting, but lately I've taken an interest in the American Old West, and science fiction. In 2018, I published my second book, a novella entitled A Man Named Eustace through Outlaws Publishing. I am currently working on a third full length western novel tentatively called Bosemann Caldera. Thematically, I write about self discovery, change, and interpersonal conflict.

I'm introverted (INFJ) and that means I like a lot of time to myself. I spend that time reading, writing, playing guitar, and exploring nature. Besides that, I like hiking, coffee, taking photos, making music, and riding my bike.
